The Palintest Water Disinfection Kit is a portable kit which provides a simple and convenient way of disinfecting hot and cold water services. Disinfection of services is essential for the control of Legionnaires' disease and other forms of water-borne diseases. Disinfection must be carried out before the system is brought into service and periodically thereafter so as to keep the system in a safe condition.

The Palintest Disinfection Kit is designed to enable plumbers and service engineers to carry out this essential procedure quickly and efficiently. The kit contains Instachlor PR- 1000 chlorine release tablets together with a Chlorocol test kit to check that the correct chlorine levels have been achieved and maintained. The kit is supplied in a plastic carrying case and is complete with full instructions. Disposable gloves are included for handling the chlorine tablets.

Water Samplers Kit Order Code SP360)

The Palintest Water Samplers Kit is a portable kit primarily designed for use in the field by water utility inspectors and sampling staff. However it is suitable for use by anyone involved in monitoring domestic water services. The Samplers Kit provides a comprehensive portable laboratory for the collection of bacterial samples and the determination of domestic water quality.

A feature of the kit is the Palintest Chlorine Spray Bottle which is used in conjunction with the Instachlor PR-250 rapid release chlorine tablets contained in the outfit. The Palintest Chlorine Spray Bottle allows the proper disinfection of taps and sampling points prior to the taking of bacterial samples of the water supply. The long tube outlet fitted on the spray bottle enables disinfection both around and inside the tap nozzle. A butane torch is also included in the kit for those applications where flaming of the sampling point is considered more appropriate.

The Palintest Water Samplers Kit is complete with a Palintest Chlorometer for accurate measurement of chlorine residuals. An inspection mirror, swab brushes and other equipment associated with domestic water sampling is also included. Sample bottles and carrier are included for bacterial sampling.

Water Meter Exchange Kit Order Code WT401)

The Palintest Water Meter Exchange Kit is a portable kit designed for use by water utility staff when installing or exchanging water meters; or carrying out other plumbing operations on site. The kit contains Instachlor PR-250 rapid release chlorine tablets and Palintest Chlorine Spray Bottle. Use of the Instachlor tablets and spray bottle allows for simple disinfection of plumbing fittings and joints during meter installation and prevents the introduction of contamination into the water services.
