Palintest has developed additional quality control procedures during manufacturing and testing to ensure that the company's reagent tablets provide peak performance in Palintest photometers every time. This guarantee of compatibility only comes with genuine Palintest reagents.

Palintest, an ISO 9001:2000 registered company, already endeavours to ensure that each batch of tablet reagents is manufactured to close tolerances that accurately match the calibrations of the instruments. The reagents also undergo stringent chemical examination during each stage of production.

These procedures have now been enhanced following investment in manufacturing and advances in chemical analysis. As new tests and formulations are developed, and new instruments released, Palintest takes many months of development to check that the calibrations remain valid for all combinations of instruments and reagents.

The reagents are also examined across a range of operation against relevant standard solutions. No other sources of reagents are tested and verified by Palintest to give the correct results with Palintest photometers. Using genuine Palintest reagents therefore maximises the performance of the instrumentation and reduces technical support issues.

Palintest manufactures a range of reagents for all types of water testing, including phenol red and the DPD test, which was invented by Dr. Thomas Palin.
